Priscilla is a nationally recognized expert and thought leader in the marketing of social issues. Priscilla consults both with corporations and brands on their brand purpose programs, and with non-profits on their communications efforts and corporate partnerships. Clients include Brady, UNICEF, and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Recent accomplishments include developing and implementing multiple strategic partnerships with UNICEF and key Fortune 500 corporate partners, and leading the development of the heralded End Family Fire campaign, a proven communications effort promoting safer storage practices among gun owners.
Prior to establishing her consulting practice, Priscilla served as Executive Vice President at the Ad Council where she oversaw the development and evaluation of all the organization’s campaigns. During her 17 years at the Ad Council, Priscilla was the most senior contact with over 50 national non-profit and Federal government clients, as well with over 40 advertising agencies. In addition to managing the strategic and creative development on behalf of all Ad Council clients, she led the Research and Evaluation Department, Corporate Partnership practice and managed all brand purpose initiatives.
Priscilla, along with the CEO, served as the Ad Council spokesperson for national TV, radio, print and online press opportunities, and as spokesperson at White House and Federal Government events. Priscilla’s accomplishments at the Ad Council include:
• Developing the “Love Has No Labels” campaign, the most successful social marketing campaign in history (250+ million global views).
• Developing entirely new models for campaign funding, including corporate coalitions with Fortune 100 partners. Coalitions launched include STEM for Girls and Online Bullying.
• Capitalizing on the changing media and social landscape and emergence of new digital technologies to reimagine campaign content and media outreach.
• Serving as the chief architect improving the overall quality of Ad Council campaigns, driving impact on the most pressing social issues facing the country.
Priscilla holds an MBA From Columbia University Prior to joining the Ad Council, Priscilla held account management positions at several New York ad agencies, working on a breadth of CPG and financial services accounts.
She has served as Chairman and is a current Board member of Let’s Get Ready, a non-profit dedicated to college access for underserved students. She is also a member of the President’s Council for The Wilderness Society, and a founding member of the Adolf Busch Award, which recognizes a music organization’s impact on creating a more civil and just society.
