Martyn is a brand strategist, naming expert, writer, and content creator who has overseen high-profile branding projects for clients in all major industries, all over the world.
Over the course of his career, Martyn has lead brand transformation and innovation programs for clients including Procter & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, Pfizer, ERT, Sharecare, GORE-TEX®, American Express, Comcast, Amnesty International, GE, Goldman Sachs, and Eli Lilly. He has extensive experience working with start-ups and private equity-owned companies to help them drive growth and build value through branding.
Born and educated in the UK, Martyn moved to New York to become Director of Verbal Strategy at Landor Associates. In that role, he worked on some of the biggest corporate name changes in the late 90’s– Verizon, Accenture, Altria and more.
Martyn holds an MA in modern languages and social psychology from the University of Cambridge, England. He is a former faculty member at Georgetown University, where he taught brand strategy on the MBA program.
