Mich is a strategist and senior corporate officer in the financial sector who has led brand transformations at leading banks, wealth advisors and insurance companies; asset managers, stock exchanges and trading firms, from the world’s largest institutions to niche boutiques, with reputations covering the gamut from Wall Street to Main Street.
Mich brings more than 25 years’ experience in brand and business consulting, having led teams at Stern Stewart, a corporate finance boutique, as well as building Landor’s Financial Services branding practice from 2005-2015. Earlier in his career he launched
BrandEconomics, a brand valuation consultancy in partnership with WPP.
Since 2015 Mich held leadership roles at Capital Group, the world’s largest active manager, where he architected the firm’s brand strategy and led wealth management product branding covering the firm’s largest client segments. He also led operations for Capital’s product strategy group.
Through this mix of consulting and client-side roles, spanning both creative and technical disciplines, Mich has developed a pragmatic approach to branding challenges. His passion is helping organizations define their authentic identity in ways that are intuitively appealing to people, and aligning communications, business management and go-to-market operations to deliver effectively on their brand promise.
Mich holds a graduate degree in Engineering and an MBA with concentration in Marketing and Finance, as well as the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) designation and a Series 7 license.
